The AlpenSchlössl is located in the middle of Austria in Alpendorf, a small town at the entrance to Großarltal, the "valley of the mountain huts". Enjoy the impressive mountain landscape of the Hohe Tauern. On around 400 km of marked hiking routes, which take you all the way to the National Park Hohe Tauern, where approx. 70 mountain huts with local delicacies invite you to take a break.

A very special highlight awaits you: our newly created natural swimming pond – nestled in the idyllic mountain landscape – invites you to dive in and unwind. Enjoy crystal-clear, naturally filtered water and let your gaze drift across the majestic peaks. Incredible Hiking Holiday in the Alps in Salzburgerland in Austria
When hiking, discover the diverse mountain landscape of our nature and breathe in the fresh air from the mainly hand mown fields at the same time. Go a bit higher and you can see the most beautiful and almost rare flowers, the Edelweiss. If you are lucky, you can watch a mountain goat as it moves majestically through the mountains, jumping from stone to stone.

Biking and Mountain Biking
For our easy bikers, we recommend the 180km long fabulous Tauern biking route, which follows along the Salzach river. Observe the swans and the ducks in their natural environment whilst cycling along. Set off directly from AlpenSchlössl!

JODYs tree trail at the Hahnbaum in St. Johann in Salzburg
JODYs Baumparcours is the new highlight at the Hahnbaum and an experience for the whole family. Jody, the wise owl, and Joey, the cheeky squirrel, guide you through the tree trail.

JO adventure mini golf course
The barrier-free adventure mini golf course in St. Johann in Salzburg is right next to the OPEN golf course in the Urreiting district and offers fun for the whole family!

- 18 artificial grass pitches
- Regional themes of the mini golf courses - a playful journey through the Pongau

Drive to the junior bosses' home, the "Schnürholz" farm
A farm experience day with tractor drives, stroking animals, stable visits etc. is often the weekly highlight for the whole family. After an interesting visit and guided tour with Hansi, then you can try the products which are made on the farm. The visit is then finished off with some funny games for both big and small.
Holiday, as if out of a fairy tale book in an incredible picture book landscape – and our AlpenSchlössl lies right in the middle of it!
