When are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: rooms are available from 3:00 PM
Check-out: rooms are available until 11:00 AM
What are the meal times?
Breakfast: 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM, Afternoon snack: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Dinner: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
How long is the reception open?
Reception is staffed daily from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM.
Can allergies and special dietary requests be accommodated?
Upon request, we offer vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free dishes – no vegan meals available. Please inform us of any food intolerances when booking.
Is there a reduction for bed and breakfast only?
A deduction of €15.00 per adult per overnight applies for stays including breakfast only.
Does the hotel have an e-charging station?
Yes. Sustainable charging for electric cars is available in our underground garage. Charging cards are available at reception. A flat rate of € 25.00 per day is charged. Please use your own charging cable.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Pets are very welcome! The surcharge is € 25.00 per day (excluding food). Please note that pets are not allowed in the dining room or wellness area. We reserve the right to charge for any necessary final cleaning.
Are dogs allowed in all rooms?
Dogs are welcome in all rooms except the categories “Fürst Panorama” and “Fürst de luxe”.
Is a deposit required for reservations?
For reservations, we kindly ask you to transfer a deposit of 30% within one week to our account at Volksbank Salzburg (BIC: VBOEATWWSAL, IBAN: AT09 4501 0311 0963 4415) or pay via online transfer.
Can we pay the remaining balance on site?
Yes, you can pay the remaining balance on site in cash, by debit card, or credit card (VISA/Mastercard – business cards excluded).
Where can you park?
Please park your car upon arrival in one of the yellow-marked parking spaces (yellow walls) in our underground garage. Access is possible without a card.
Note: Maximum vehicle height is 2.30 m in the 1st basement level and 2.10 m in the 2nd basement level.
Can table or room preferences be requested?
Due to booking logistics, we will try to accommodate your table and room preferences, but cannot guarantee them.
Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept the following payment methods: cash, EC card (Austria, Germany, Netherlands), Visa, Mastercard, or bank transfer free of charge.
What is the Guest Mobility Ticket?
With the Guest Mobility Ticket, you can use public transportation throughout the entire state of Salzburg free of charge during your stay.
Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
Please note that the entire hotel is non-smoking. You are welcome to smoke on the panoramic terrace or balcony.
Are towels and bathrobes provided for the spa area?
A soft bathrobe, slippers, and a spa bag with bath and sauna towels are provided. The spa bag is also available for purchase.

Yes, there are two pharmacies in the town of St. Johann.

Yes, the nearest ATM is located directly at the gondola station (open 24 hours).
Is the hotel located on the ski slope?
Yes, the hotel is located directly next to the gondola lift and ski slope in Snow Space Salzburg.
Does the hotel have a fitness center?
Yes, our hotel features a fitness center with state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment.
Does the hotel have an elevator?
Yes, the hotel has a panoramic lift running from both underground car park levels up to the 5th floor. The rooms in the "Tauernblick" and "Single" categories are located on the 6th floor.
How can you book Hotel AlpenSchlössl?

Can non-residents have breakfast or dinner at the restaurant?
Yes, you are welcome to join us for breakfast or dinner, subject to availability.
How far is the gondola station from the hotel?
The gondola station is about a 2–3 minute walk away.
Which ski schools do you recommend?
For private lessons we recommend Ski School Pfeifhofer, and for group lessons Ski School Alpendorf.
Can massage appointments be booked simultaneously?
No, unfortunately this is not possible as only one therapist is available.
Can the sauna be used earlier?
Yes, we are happy to switch it on earlier upon request.
Is participation in the Xund & Fit program free?
Participation is free for our guests.
What are the cancellation policies?
Cancellations are only valid in writing. We recommend travel cancellation insurance, which is offered automatically with every booking, to avoid costs in case of unforeseen changes.
Cancellation policy (May to November):
- Free cancellation up to 29 days before arrival
- 4 to 2 weeks before arrival: 60% of total amount
- 2 to 1 week before arrival: 70% of total amount
- Within 1 week, no-show, or early departure: 90% of total amount
Cancellation policy (December to April):
- Free cancellation up to 3 months before arrival
- 3 months to 1 month before arrival: 40% of total amount
- 1 month to 1 week before arrival: 70% of total amount
- Within 1 week, no-show, or early departure: 90% of total amount
In the case of a free cancellation, the deposit will be converted into a non-expiring voucher that can be used for a future stay. Upon explicit request, the deposit can also be refunded; a processing fee of €20.00 will be deducted.
